Woohoo! I'm down 4.4 now! Yippee! Wow I better keep this up.
You know what else is good for weight loss... the stress of planning a wedding. Oakland County and the surrounding area - nothing but a rip off when it comes to receptions. The prices are F-in insane. Not to use foul language but it's so true. I was so excited about this one place and then I find out that the price on the drinks is not per person but per drink sold. Now 200 people at a wedding with the cheapest drink being $3.50 for water or pop. Tell me they are not trying to screw me and other brides to be over! It's outrageous! Every place has a different angle to stick it to you. Perhaps I should open my own reception hall and kick all there butts.
Ok.. that's enough for now :) I must go into happy bride-to-be mode and get some work done.

Well, well, well... Monday I was 172.2 today I am 168.8 - that's a 3.4 pound difference in like 2 days. How does that happen? I guess staying below 1200 calories and excercising my butt off... Actually I have not been pushing myself as much as I should or could but at least I am getting off my big fat lazy butt!
Wedding plans are driving me bonkers! I just want to book a place already so we can set an official date. ARGH!!! Although some ideas and plans I think are set but we need the main ones to fall into place. It's frustrating. There are so many places to see and it sucks when you have to deal with a budget! That's life I guess.
Well I have to get focused and get some work done. Take care everyone!

SHE'S ALIVE!!!
Yup that's right - I'm alive and kicking (just like little Logan!) Who's Logan you may ask- well we found out my sister is having a boy and she is going to name him Logan or wiggleworm...
Well I fell off the weightloss wagon really bad. I was doing great and then my Grandma passed away on April 24th and I fell into somewhat of a downward eating spiral... I went back up to 175 but am happy to say I got back on the dieting wagon on Monday, July 9th. I have a big HUGE incentive. I need to fit into a white dress for an April wedding! Yup Scott popped the question on July 3rd. I of course said yes and now I refuse to go dress shopping until I drop 15-20 pounds. Can it be done you masy ask and my response is - without a doubt! My best pal Barb has started a weightloss program herself and she has lost 9 pounds in 3-4 weeks. YAY! So by labor day I'll have lost at least 15 and maybe I can start looking in the middle to end of September. YAY ME! I'm gonna be a bride and have a wedding.
My new method is excercise and try and watch my calories. I am trying to stay at 1200 but 1400 tops for special days. It's really not too hard. Anyway, I better get back to work... but I am really going to try to be better at posting!

165.6 YES!!!
Woo hoo! Weigh to go! And I am not even doing the weigh to go program anymore. They lied to me and said it was free and then they wanted $90. I said no way Jose... I'll do it on my own and look I am! When was the last time I saw 165? I have absolutely no idea!!! YIPPEE! HOORAY! WAHOO! Go Robin Go Robin Go!!
I have been eating less but more imprtantly have been excercising more. Drinking milk and eating more protein (Hard boiled eggs mmmm....) and I have been eating Clif bars for breakfast, which are protein based mostly. I look better and feel better! I am going to so kick someones butt who thinks I can't do this! Pooh on you, you hear me! I know it has taken me a while to get started but now that spring is in the air I have some spring in my step and you better watch out!

I cant remember what the point was. My morning was rudely interrupted by Hoops, better known as Poops, because that is all he does! Poop, poop, poop, poop, poop! He won't go outside either, no because it is too cold out there, so he goes in his crate instead! Argh! He is so cute but such a handful at the same time. He is putting a damper on my excercise plan when I thought he would be a help! Well he is helping me clean more, not what I want to clean though!
So I am adhering to the WTG plan pretty well, at least I am not going over the amount of food I am supposed to have, I am under, which perhaps is my problem. I store fat because I don't get enough of what I am supposed to have. Who knows...
Well that is all I have to say for now. I have to get back to work, which seems like pleasure compared to what I have to do at home these days! Who knew! And I want to be a Mom someday. Ha!

Well 169.4, but that was with my pj's on! So I am down a few pounds. Hooray for me! I have been given a meal plan, which is really more like guidelines, from the WTG program I am on. It is based on the amount of calories I am supposed to need and it just tells me how many servings of each food group I am supposed to eat each day. Serving sizes are a lot smaller that most of us realize. Except the vegies, those are huge! Did you know that 1 little cup of pasta is actually 3 servings worth! Just say no to the Olive Garden I guess! It's crazy!
I am going to get an excercise plan at my next visit, which unfortuately is further out than I had hoped so I just set some goals until then. 3 minutes of crunches and other ab work and the elliptical 3x a week for 15-20 minutes. My food goals are to meet at least 5 vegie servings at least 5 times a week and to drink at least 1/2 of my water requirement and to adhere to the plan the best I can everyday! The girls I work with there are great! They are so nice and positive.
I am getting a new piece of excercise equipment tomorrow also. It is called a puppy! Yup I am going to be a mom to a little boy puppy! Yay! I can hardly wait! He is a Boston Terrier and I don't know what I am going to name him yet. Any suggestions?

Well I better be getting back to work before my bosses slap me silly :)

170 and holding
Although in my head I am saying 133.... I am trying to think positive for a change. I am so used to thinking negative about things, it's no wonder I don't achieve things. My new philosophy on life... believe and you can achieve! Corny I know. I have listened to "The Secret" you know the current craze sweeping across the U.S. and while some of it is questionable I find that it still is a good way to think and be. Nothing good ever came out of being negative so I am going to believe that I can achieve whatever I want and eliminate any doubt and negativity from my thoughts and actions. I will be 133 before next year. I couldn't decide between 130 or 135 so I said 133!
I had my appointment with the WTG program today. (Weigh to go) It was good but somewhat dissapointing. I am all raring to go but today was mostly just informational so I need to go back twice next week. Once for nutrition and once for excercise! I am so glad the program is free! Yay! More money for me!!!
Well it is super sunny out and near 70 and it is 5:20 so I am heading out to enjoy this beautiful glorious day! Thank you God!!

170... hmmmm
How do I go from 173 to 170? So why can't I go from 170 to 167 and then to 164 and so on... I know I can, I have before. I just need to get really focused and serious. Clearly I have not been trying. Well that is not entirely true. I try and don't see any results and then get discouraged. I know it takes time it just seems like it melted off a few years ago, well more like 4 or 5. Funny how it all seems like yesterday in a way.
I was good with my eating yesterday... today well my lunch was small but not healthy... Shamrock shake at McDonald's. Hey they are only around for a limited time. I gotta to get while the getting is good! So I guess by now my 170 is back up to 173....
Well I know I have said this before but I am really, really going to try to keep updating this blog on a regular basis and use it to help me lose weight. I am only hmmm 6 months into it. Call it a warm up phase. I bet if Jimmy B made a bet with me I could lose the weight! That's how I got my license. A simple little bet with Jimmy B! I don't know why but I think it would work...
Well I better get back to work... I'm out. Have a happy weekend!

173 - Awww poop!!
Well, I guess that is what happens when you go on vacation and eat out every night! I am actually starting a new plan next week throught my health insurance. When you measure your BMI and it tells you that you are obese, it's time to do something major and get serious and stick to it! So I am meeting with a doctor, a nutrionist and an exercise planner person. All free through my insurance! Who knew! It's called the "weigh to go" program. I am excited to do it I just hope I am able to follow what the nutrionist tells me to do. Willpower...find it and use it!
So I was in Montreal and Mt. Tremblant over the weekend and I fell in love with Montreal even though it was covered in snow! A huge blizzard hit our only day there! I can not wait to go back in the summer to explore the city some more. Perhaps I'll post a few pictures later. Right now I must get to work!

Well I am back under 170. For how long, who knows. I am attaching a picture of me at my sister's wedding about 2 years back at 169. Yeesh, if this is how I look at 169 can you imagine what the 177 looked like! I want to post it with my name so it always pops up but I can't seem to figure it out. Thomas
Now that I know how easy it is to post pictures, here is a picture of Thomas the happy cat who got adopted! He is pretty big for a stray but they tell me he is very sweet and gentle.

Weight is the same although I am doing well with the eating again. My pants do fit better but the stupid scale won't budge! What gives. I know muscle weighs more than fat but unless I am lifting weights in my sleep I don't think I have added any muscle to this body! Weird...

THOMAS HAS BEEN SAVED!!!
If any of you ever clicked on the link Save Thomas you know what I am talking about! Thomas was a stray cat who lived in my yard for almost a year and when it got cold I thought I should do something to help him out so I brought him to Kitty Haven, (which is now the link in place of Save Thomas), and I got a call Saturday informing me that he got adopted last Thursday! YAY! I was so happy to hear about his good fortune it brought tears to my eyes! I do miss seeing him at my front door though since I rescued him.
Weight is holding steady. I was down to 168 on Saturday and back to 171 this morning. It changes so fast. I have been grumpy lately which always makes me eat poor and excercise less, which just makes the problem worse. I need to get back on track, quickly!!!
Well, that is all for now. Enjoy the snow... thak goodness it will be gone soon! (Well, I hope! Spring is around the corner!)

170 I think
Clearly my weight is going nowhere but holding steady and clearly I am still horrible about updating this page. I ate pretty bad since last thursday. I have moments but then I am like "FEED ME" I think it may be called PMS.
On a good note, I have actually excercised everyday this week so far except today. Monday I did my elliptical and Pilates, Tuesday I did my elliptical, Wednesday I did my elliptical for a whopping 40+ minutes and yesterday I did my elliptical for 30 and Pilates again! Woo-hoo... the only problem is I swear it makes me hungrier! Argh!!
So I am glad to know people read this every once in awhile. Thank you for your comments :) Now I know I can not fail! Not with everybody watching! Thanks guys or shall I say girls!
Well, time to get back to work. I'm out!

Okie Dokie Artichokie... I have lost 1.4 pounds overnight! Hey I should, I was under my points again! I did bail on the elliptical AGAIN!! SLACKER!! God got even with me though... He decided that to create extra movement for me he would make my fairly new dryer break-down in mid-cycle, leaving me with wet clothes to hang dry in the bathroom. Amazingly enough they did not attack me in the middle of the night when I had to go! My bathroom is very narrow and there is not much room for the clothes and me!
The elliptical will be a no go this evening as well. I have to get my haircut, passport photo taken and then am making dinner with the one, the only, the crazy nut that I love... Scott! No he is not whisking me away anywhere that I need a passport for, it's simply in case I need to leave the country in a hurry. You all know what a daring life I lead... ok, ok... so it's just because I am 32 and don't have one. Kind of like Lucy from "While you Were Sleeping"
Ok, back to the matter at hand. Yetserday I ate in addition to where I left off from yesterday, Hot cocoa, Sweedish Meatballs (WW style), 2 pieces of choclate, Cheese slice and 1 snacky cake from WW. for a total of 20.5 points all day long Baby! I am allowed 24-27. Monday I only had 16!! You go girl!! I have been averaging 27 on a daily basis even when I was losing pre-Christmas, but I have learned some tricks and am trying harder!
Ok.. I gotta get back to work. Peace Out and remember:

Well, clearly the weight loss is not going so well and neither is me updating this page more often. The format of blogger changed and that prevented me from posting for awhile because I wouldn't take the time to figure it out, but alas I did it!
I am trying really hard to get back into the swing of weight watchers and my elliptical but life has been so busy which makes it hard to get a schedule. Then I've been out of town and sick and I know... excuses, excuses! Dr. L would not be very proud of me! I've got a little over a month to make some real progress or a tongue lashing I will be receiving! I have been making wiser choices but all that holiday chocolate and what not just won't leave me alone!!
I also wonder if anyone reads this so I thought what was the point. Then my sister said she checks all the time and is bummed that I am not writing, so that is at least one person. More importantly though, this is supposed to be a tool to encourage me that is the point.
Speaking of points, I was way under my weight watcher points yesterday, unless you add the huge carry-over from the weekend :( Today I am not so bad either and it has been healthy!
Yesterday went like this:
Oatmeal, coffee, Egg McMuffin (homemade healthy version, only 3 points!), orange, 1/2 an apple, Ham and Cheeses sandwich, cottage cheese, tea, water and a 1 point snack cake for a chocolate fix!
Today so far... Oatmeal, Coffee, Yogurt, Turkey Sandwich, Celery w/Peanutbutter and water!
I am learning to read the labels and make healthier, wiser decisions and am trying to eat fruit at least once, if not twice a day!
Now I just need to work in the excercise. I love my elliptical, it's fun so I don't know what my problem is. Perhaps it's the lack of the sunshine and it's got me down in the grumpy dumps!
Well, I am swamped at work as has been the story for several months now, so I must go before the paperwork buries me and I am never seen or heard from again!

Happy New Year 169.8
Well Happy New Year everyone!! My resolution is a continuation of what this blog is about of course! I got off to a slow start as I was sick last week and it is not easy to adhere to anything when you are not feeling well! So today is the start of my weight loss/eat healthy/excercise resolution! It was going well previously until Christmas! I had lost 10 pounds but then gained about 7/8 back and now am back down to a total loss of about 8. Not so bad I guess. When I get back on that elliptical, which I will do, it will help out a lot I am sure! My Doctor is also tracking my weight now. I have 8 weeks to get my weight and body fat percentage down! I know I can do it, I just need to work on my willpower and not be a slave to cookies and chocolate! Exspecially chocolate cookies! Tee hee he!
I am trying to follow the weight watchers program which is really good and allows you flexibility. I just need to stick with it and account for everything!! I can eat pizza but then I best be eating a lot of veggies later!!
It really is teaching me how to make smarter choices.
