Well, clearly the weight loss is not going so well and neither is me updating this page more often. The format of blogger changed and that prevented me from posting for awhile because I wouldn't take the time to figure it out, but alas I did it!
I am trying really hard to get back into the swing of weight watchers and my elliptical but life has been so busy which makes it hard to get a schedule. Then I've been out of town and sick and I know... excuses, excuses! Dr. L would not be very proud of me! I've got a little over a month to make some real progress or a tongue lashing I will be receiving! I have been making wiser choices but all that holiday chocolate and what not just won't leave me alone!!
I also wonder if anyone reads this so I thought what was the point. Then my sister said she checks all the time and is bummed that I am not writing, so that is at least one person. More importantly though, this is supposed to be a tool to encourage me that is the point.
Speaking of points, I was way under my weight watcher points yesterday, unless you add the huge carry-over from the weekend :( Today I am not so bad either and it has been healthy!
Yesterday went like this:
Oatmeal, coffee, Egg McMuffin (homemade healthy version, only 3 points!), orange, 1/2 an apple, Ham and Cheeses sandwich, cottage cheese, tea, water and a 1 point snack cake for a chocolate fix!
Today so far... Oatmeal, Coffee, Yogurt, Turkey Sandwich, Celery w/Peanutbutter and water!
I am learning to read the labels and make healthier, wiser decisions and am trying to eat fruit at least once, if not twice a day!
Now I just need to work in the excercise. I love my elliptical, it's fun so I don't know what my problem is. Perhaps it's the lack of the sunshine and it's got me down in the grumpy dumps!
Well, I am swamped at work as has been the story for several months now, so I must go before the paperwork buries me and I am never seen or heard from again!
