Okie Dokie Artichokie... I have lost 1.4 pounds overnight! Hey I should, I was under my points again! I did bail on the elliptical AGAIN!! SLACKER!! God got even with me though... He decided that to create extra movement for me he would make my fairly new dryer break-down in mid-cycle, leaving me with wet clothes to hang dry in the bathroom. Amazingly enough they did not attack me in the middle of the night when I had to go! My bathroom is very narrow and there is not much room for the clothes and me!
The elliptical will be a no go this evening as well. I have to get my haircut, passport photo taken and then am making dinner with the one, the only, the crazy nut that I love... Scott! No he is not whisking me away anywhere that I need a passport for, it's simply in case I need to leave the country in a hurry. You all know what a daring life I lead... ok, ok... so it's just because I am 32 and don't have one. Kind of like Lucy from "While you Were Sleeping"
Ok, back to the matter at hand. Yetserday I ate in addition to where I left off from yesterday, Hot cocoa, Sweedish Meatballs (WW style), 2 pieces of choclate, Cheese slice and 1 snacky cake from WW. for a total of 20.5 points all day long Baby! I am allowed 24-27. Monday I only had 16!! You go girl!! I have been averaging 27 on a daily basis even when I was losing pre-Christmas, but I have learned some tricks and am trying harder!

Well, clearly the weight loss is not going so well and neither is me updating this page more often. The format of blogger changed and that prevented me from posting for awhile because I wouldn't take the time to figure it out, but alas I did it!
I am trying really hard to get back into the swing of weight watchers and my elliptical but life has been so busy which makes it hard to get a schedule. Then I've been out of town and sick and I know... excuses, excuses! Dr. L would not be very proud of me! I've got a little over a month to make some real progress or a tongue lashing I will be receiving! I have been making wiser choices but all that holiday chocolate and what not just won't leave me alone!!
I also wonder if anyone reads this so I thought what was the point. Then my sister said she checks all the time and is bummed that I am not writing, so that is at least one person. More importantly though, this is supposed to be a tool to encourage me that is the point.
Speaking of points, I was way under my weight watcher points yesterday, unless you add the huge carry-over from the weekend :( Today I am not so bad either and it has been healthy!
Yesterday went like this:
Oatmeal, coffee, Egg McMuffin (homemade healthy version, only 3 points!), orange, 1/2 an apple, Ham and Cheeses sandwich, cottage cheese, tea, water and a 1 point snack cake for a chocolate fix!
Today so far... Oatmeal, Coffee, Yogurt, Turkey Sandwich, Celery w/Peanutbutter and water!
I am learning to read the labels and make healthier, wiser decisions and am trying to eat fruit at least once, if not twice a day!
Now I just need to work in the excercise. I love my elliptical, it's fun so I don't know what my problem is. Perhaps it's the lack of the sunshine and it's got me down in the grumpy dumps!
Well, I am swamped at work as has been the story for several months now, so I must go before the paperwork buries me and I am never seen or heard from again!

Happy New Year 169.8
Well Happy New Year everyone!! My resolution is a continuation of what this blog is about of course! I got off to a slow start as I was sick last week and it is not easy to adhere to anything when you are not feeling well! So today is the start of my weight loss/eat healthy/excercise resolution! It was going well previously until Christmas! I had lost 10 pounds but then gained about 7/8 back and now am back down to a total loss of about 8. Not so bad I guess. When I get back on that elliptical, which I will do, it will help out a lot I am sure! My Doctor is also tracking my weight now. I have 8 weeks to get my weight and body fat percentage down! I know I can do it, I just need to work on my willpower and not be a slave to cookies and chocolate! Exspecially chocolate cookies! Tee hee he!
I am trying to follow the weight watchers program which is really good and allows you flexibility. I just need to stick with it and account for everything!! I can eat pizza but then I best be eating a lot of veggies later!!
It really is teaching me how to make smarter choices.
